New feature cut: Pro version

We aim to offer you exactly what you need: On top of a variable user count, we distinguished between our Lite and Full version until now. The Lite version catered to small project and everything beyond needed the plentyful features of our Full version with its many add-on modules. In order to fit even better to your needs, we want to present new middle-ground: A Pro version for all users who don’t need the extensive feature set of our Full version but whose projects are too large to fit into the Lite version.

The Pro version features everything from Lite version plus:

Extended user limit up to 1500 concurrent users
More maximum bandwidth of 2.5Gbit/s
Optional PMS module support
Support for up to 10 ticket printers
Connection Tracking
Port and MAC address filtering
Bulk ticket creation
Support Level 2 (Lite: 3, Full: 1)

Webhooks

We’ve added webhook support to the IACBOX! Now you can configure any number of webhook endpoints that get notified when certain events occur. This allows you to integrate with third party systems that need to know when users connect, disconnect, or reach usage limits. There are also system events available like for backups, reboots aso. The number of available events is growing with every release. See the Webhooks documentation for more information.

iacbox.cloud Pro package

With version 24.0 we’ve introduced our central management platform iacbox.cloud and the Basic package which offers remote access to any system (without custom VPNs or port forwardings) and an oversight over all connected systems.

Now with v24.1 we take the next step and add an initial version of the Pro Package which allows:

Mass configuration rollout for the first three commands:
- Deploy DNS Filter settings: Configure the DNS filter once, rollout to any number of systems.
- Login page: Customize a login page on one system only and rollout to any number of systems.
- Create Backup: Trigger backup creation
- Restore Backup: Restore a backup from any other system, to speed up an initial configuration of similar systems.
- System Online Update: Trigger a system update, so many systems can be updated in chunks.
- System Reboot: Trigger a system reboot
