Ticket Upgrades

Ticket Upgrades

Allow to increase various settings of a ticket after the ticket was created. This upgrades can be applied from the webadmin or made available for purchase from the loginpage.

Following settings can be increased

  • Limits
    • Bandwidht speed
    • Download/Upload volume
    • Life time
  • Application control profiles

To be able to upgrade a ticket an Ticket Upgrade needs to be defined and assigned to the template which was used to create the ticket.

Define Ticket Upgrades

In User/Tickets -> Templates upgrades can be defined in the tab Upgrades

Assign Ticket Upgrades

In User/Tickets -> Templates upgrades can be assigned to ticket templates in the tab Overviews

Within seciton Ticket Upgrades upgrades can be added to this template. All upgrades added to the template are valid for each ticket created with this template.

Apply Ticket Upgrades to ticket

For Guests per loginpage

For ticket upgrades to be enabled in the loginpage following requirements need to be fullfilled:

  • The Template of the ticket has at least one ticket upgrade assigned
  • At least one of the assigned templates has the checkbox Display on Loginpage enabled
  • The Login Method Online Payment is configured and enabled for this loginpage
  • The ticket is alread online

Open the page http://logon.now in any browser on the device online with this ticket. The You are online page will be displayed click the button labeled Ticket Upgrade

This leads to the Ticket Upgrade page which allows the selection of the upgrade and payment method to use to pay for the ticket upgrade. After the payment is completed the upgrade will be applied to the ticket.

Opening the link with following Get param http://logon.now/?upgrade=1 links directly to the Upgrade page if ticket is able to else the You are online page will be displayed

External User Id

By adding the Get Param extUser= an external user id can be added to the upgrade log. This is required for all upgrades with Requires External User ID checked.

The recommended solution is to provide an QR-code with the link http://logon.now/?upgrade=1&extUser=xxx

Upgrade Information on loginpage

In the loginpage editor the element Upgrade Info can be added to the loginpage. This Element will display the last upgrades applied to the ticket and the status of the upgrades. It is only visible in the You are online page for ticket which are able to have upgrades

Manually per Webadmin

In User/Tickets -> Overview the ticket details can be opened by clicking on the “i” icon. Within this popup in the tab Upgrades new upgrades can be applied to the ticket and below a list of all already applied upgrades for the ticket can be found.

Display all ticket upgrade attempts

In Reporting -> Statistics in the tab Ticket Upgrades all ticket upgrade attempts can be viewed and downloaded
