SNMP

The IACBOX can be monitored via SNMP. Activate SNMP under Monitoring -> SNMP.
Configuring SNMP is part of operating the IACBOX securely.
MIBs
Right now only default Linux MIBs are supported which allow to monitor
- Availability
- Network traffic
- CPU usage
- Memory usage
- Harddisk usage
- etc.
General configuration
- Device Name/Description/Location/Contact: Information for this device.
- SNMPv1 read/write community: Read/Write Community for SNMPv1. If empty, no access is provided for SNMPv1.
- SNMPv3 read/write user and password: Username and password for SNMPv3. If empty, no access is provided for SNMPv3.
- Reachable from: Network of IACBOX from wich SNMP is reachable.
Traps
In this tab, trap receivers can be added for:
- SNMPv1
- SNMPv2 inform
- SNMPv2c
