Login page editor
The Login Page Editor enables fast and easy creation, editing, adjusting and publishing of new login pages.
With the builtin editor, Login Pages can be edited by simply dragging & dropping pre-built elements onto the page and then adjust them by color, size and content.
Getting started
To get started, navigate to Login Page/Login Page Editor.
After a installation/update, the default design will be active. Default designs can be edited and copied.
The new login page comes with a selection of designs, optimized for the most common use cases in hospitality and other services.
To add a new login page, simply select one of the available options from the according dropdown-menu and click on Add new.
The newly added login page will now appear in the selection. To publish the Login Page it must be set as the Default login page and then confirmed via the Save button:
In this example, Default login page yellow has been added and activated as default login page. To inspect and edit this login page, open the Editor by clicking on the green Show/Edit button.
Login Page per VLAN/Route
In case VLANs or the Routing Mode is active, Login Pages can be assigned to VLANs or Routes separately.
For this, navigate to the Location ID section and select VLAN based or Route based Login Page separation as required.
A new section in the Login Page tab allows for manual assignment of individual login pages to VLANs/Routes.
Add login methods
- When using non-default Login Pages -> Login Methods (Local Users, PMS authentication, Social Logins, etc…) that are enabled later must be activated manually on the Login Pages. To do so in the editor, click on Login box 1 in the left bottom corner (1). This will open a selection for all available options on the right upper part of the page where available login methods can be shown/hidden (2).
- If a login method is shown, but not configured, then it will be hidden and a warning icon will be displayed next to it.
Change background image
To change the background image, select the Page tab on the right upper side in the editor and expand the Background option. Here, among one of many default background images, custom images can also be uploaded via the Select Image to Upload option.
- Please note that after selecting a new image it is necessary to Save to activate the changes.
Change the logo
In order to change the logo, simply click on it while being in EditMode.
This will open a selection on the right part of the page where default logos can be selected and custom logos can be uploaded.
Adding elements
Add new elements by dragging & dropping one of the available options from the selection on the upper left side of the page.
For example: A custom text should be added to the Login Page.
Click on the Text element on the left hand side and drag it to where it should be displayed on the Login Page.
Now click on this element so that the available options will be loaded in the right upper part again.
Here the text can be edited in content and style and even translations can be added.
- Note that all elements can also be removed by clicking on them and then selecting Delete on the right side.
