Data Collector

The Data Collector allows adding required or optional input fields to collect specific data such as names, email addresses, or feedback.

How to use

The Data Collector can be used in two different ways:

  • In-line
  • On-page

The difference between those two options is: The In-line data collector is connected to a specific login method, while the On-page data collector can be used independently. This means the On-page data collector is optional by itself, but it can contain required input fields which have to be filled out in order to send the form.

In-Line Data Collector

To use the In-line data collector, first a data collector template must be created in the WebAdmin menu Login page/Data Collector

In the following example the In-line data collector will ask for the Name as a required field and the Email address as an optional field.

  • Any pre-selections from the drop-down menu such as Name do already have translations in all available languages.
  • No translation will be available for custom text description.
