Klarna Account #

To use this API a Klarna Merchant account is required. To register a new account, visit Klarna…

…and click Register in the left menu.

Fill in all the data and finalize the registration by clicking the Register for free button.

Create App #

Inside the merchant account portal there is a Step by step section to create a project, including all necessary configurations to implement Klarna into the IACBOX.

At first create a new Project.

Select Gateway project as appropriate project type.

Afterwards the General Settings will appear.
Choose a appropriate Project name.
Select Own shop system as Shop system and Service Provider, and Other-Service Provider in the appearing Field as Industry.
Set https://hotspot.internet-for-guests.com as website URL.

Fill out the Address and Bank account sections accordingly.

At last check the Sofort checkbox in the Payment Methods section on the bottom of the page and save all settings.

API Key and Credentials #

After saving the created project, the automatically generated API Key, Project ID and Customer number can be found on the bottom of the General Settings section.

Webadmin Configuration #

Inside the IACBOX Webadmin navigate to Login methods / Online Payment. If it is not already activated, press the button to activate the section.

Choose the Klarna (Sofort) tab and activate it as a payment method.

Fill out the form according to the data received from Klarna earlier. The optional SMS and Email configuration can only be used, if the according login methods are configured in Login methods / SMS & email properly.

Ticket templates #

To set prices, navigate to Users/Tickets / Templates and create a new Ticket Template which will be used for the Online Payment. There is an example configuration in the screenshot below. Note that an Online Payment ticket must fulfill following requirements:

• Price must not be 0
• Online Payment must be checked under Login methods

Login Page #

The login page now lists the Ticket Shop with the payment option Klarna.
The Ticket Templates assigned for Online Payment will be displayed when purchasing Tickets via this method.
