Email Ticket Request

This login method is for companies which have frequent guests and want (some) employees to be able to approve temporary internet access to guests.

How it works

  1. A guest joins WiFi and sees the login page
  2. The guest enters his/her email address and the email address of the receiver/employee (mostly in direct contact in that moment)
  3. The receiver/employee gets an email sent by the IACBOX with the ticket request and opens the approval page just by clicking on the link inside the email. The ticket request gets reviewed and approved by the employee.
  4. The guest device gets online

Receivers

As possible receivers either

  • a domain can be specified like @example.com with a free text field for the receiver
  • a list of static email addresses like reception@example.com, wifi@example.com

Approve a ticket request

The receiver of a ticket request clicks on the link inside the email and sees a special WebAdmin page where this ticket request can be verified and approved. Usually the requesting device will be taken online immediately.

Stored Data

Archived user data can be accessed and downloaded in the WebAdmin menu Reporting/Collected user data.
