Cloud Backup
Cloud Backup is part of the iacbox.cloud subscription which backups the system every day automatically without any needed settings.
This feature is turned on automatically with a present iacbox.cloud subscription, but can be switched off if some regulations or company policies avoid using this feature.
Packages
Both packages, Basic and Pro provide this feature, but with different number of generations and content.

Security
- All backups are encrypted on the system with a key derived from your license data. This ensures that backups are safe, even in case of stolen backups.
- Every system has unique and separated access credentials, so different systems cannot access backups of other systems.
- Backups are GDPR compliant and stored on servers within the EU only operated by providers located in the EU

Restore from Cloud Backup
If a system was set up on a new hardware or VM and a backup should be restored
- Register the system first (System -> License)
- Then under System -> Backup -> Cloud Backup the last backups are listed
- Restore the wanted backup by clicking on the restore icon in the table on the right
