DNS Bypass

In case of a NXDOMAIN DNS answer (non existing domain) the answer will not be replaced by the Surf-LAN IP. The client will receive the original DNS answer. (e.g. to prevent timeouts when using Directory Servers)

DNS Redirect

Each DNS request for a defined Domain Name will be answered with the corresponding IP Address (DNS A-Record).
