Port Forwarding

General

Define port forwardings (Destination-NAT) from ‘Office-LAN’, ‘Management-LAN’ or a ‘VPN-Interface’ to ‘Surf-LAN’. This is used for accessing devices located inside ‘Surf-LAN’ by devices from outside the ‘Surf-LAN’ (e.g. ‘Office-LAN’).

Example

Accesspoint (AP) in ‘Surf-LAN’ has IP 172.30.0.1 and has a web based management interface listening on port 9000. To manage this AP from an ‘Office-LAN’ client with IP 192.168.10.20 we define the local port 9090. ‘Internet for Guests Server’ has IP 192.168.10.100.

Now you can access the AP web management interface by using http://192.168.10.100:9090 from client 192.168.10.20.
