PayPal Account
To use the PayPal login with IACBOX a PayPal business account is required. To register a new account, visit Paypal and click new account. In the new window, select Business as account type and proceed until your account has been created and verified.
If you do have a personal account, then it is also possible to convert it to a business account. To do so, navigate to your account settings and select Upgrade to a Business account.
Account Setup
To create the required API data to use the PayPal login with IACBOX, navigate into Account Settings which can be found in the right upper corner by clicking on your PayPal profile name.
In the Account Settings, proceed by navigating to Account Access and then click on Update where it says API access.
On the next page, Scroll down to the very bottom to the page and then click on NVP/SOAP API Integration (Classic) as shown in this screenshot:
This will open a prompt, asking if you want to create an API signature or a API certificate. Select API Signature:
The next page will then display the following credentials for you:
- API username
- API password
- Signature
Webadmin Configuration
In the IACBOX WebAdmin, navigate to Login methods / Online Payment and paste the 3 fields from above into the similarly named input fields:
The optional SMS and Email options allows guests to receive the generated ticket data on via these methods, so they can authenticate multiple devices with the same ticket (if configured in the according ticket template). To enable these settings, a valid SMS and/or email configuration needs to be present in the WebAdmin menu Login methods / SMS & email.
Ticket templates
To configure new ticket templates, navigate to Users/Tickets / Templates and create a new Ticket Template which will be used for the Online Payment. In the screenshot below you can see an example configuration. Note that an Online Payment ticket must fulfill following requirements:
- Price must not be 0
- Online Payment must be checked under Modules
Login Page
The login page now lists the Ticket Shop and the payment option PayPal and the Ticket Templates you assigned for Online Payment module can be purchased now.
