Creating Tickets

Creating tickets via the WebAdmin is straightforward and one of many ways to create tickets on the IACBOX.
Depending on the Permission Set of the currently logged in WebAdmin User, final adjustments to the Ticket can be made here.

Here we can also see the previously mentioned Ticket Defaults in action as our Max Download/Upload Bandwidth is set to “Default”, meaning its value is defined by our Ticket Defaults settings. We also have an example of a Ticket Default being overwritten by a Ticket Template setting. Here the previously set Ticket Limit of 1000 in our Ticket Defaults has been overwritten by our settings in Ticket Templates to 5000.

Value overwrites follow a hierarchical structure.

  • Ticket Defaults -> Ticket Templates -> Ticket Creation

This way way have full control all the way with minimal effort while also maintaining the flexibility of ‘on-the-fly’ changes.
